Steps to Draw the Eiffel Tower
The Eiffel Tower is a French wrought-iron landmark. People love the thing that carries architecture and cultural significance. This is the reason that the Eiffel Tower is famous among people. Let’s learn more about the Eiffel Tower by drawing. Here’s a brief preview of today’s tutorial. Please go through the instructions step by step to complete your sketching.
Step 1: Draw an Outline
Sketch a curve facing left in the middle of the paper to draw the Eiffel Tower where the curve’s upper portion is slightly inclined to the right.
Step 2: Sketch One More Curve
Sketch one more curve facing right opposite the curve drawn in Step 1 where both the curves’ upper portions are about to join but not join.
Step 3: Sketch More Lines
At the top of the two curves, draw a small straight horizontal line to join them together. Then sketch two more horizontal lines at the bottom and leave a gap between the two lines. In the gap, draw a curve facing downward. This gives an outline for the Eiffel Tower.
Step 4: Draw a Triangle
Draw a triangle inside the outline drawn in Step 3, which is elongated upward, and gives a structure like the alphabet ‘A’.
Step 5: Add Two Rectangles and a Triangle to the Tower
Draw two rectangles; one just below the triangle drawn in Step 4 and the other at the top of the triangle. Sketch one more rectangle above the structure drawn in Step 3 and right above it, sketch a small triangle. This divides the tower into different platforms.
Step 6: Sketch Horizontal Lines
Add small horizontal lines to all the partitions of the tower where the distance between the horizontal lines at the base is larger than at the top.
Step 7: Sketch Cross Signs on the Lower Platform
To the left, sketch a cross sign between every two lines of the lower platform of the tower. Then, do the same to the right and add one more cross sign in the middle.
Step 8: Sketch More Cross Signs on the Second Platform
Sketch more cross structures in the second platform of the tower both on the left and right which looks a bit smaller in size than the cross sign of the lower platform.
Step 9: Add More Cross Signs at the Top of the Tower
As in Steps 7 and 8, sketch more cross signs at the Eiffel Tower’s top platform whose size decreases while moving upward.
Coloring The Spider Web
We used a black marker for sketching and decided not to color the Eiffel Tower in this tutorial.
