Steps To Draw Olympic Ring
Drawing the Olympic rings can be a fun and rewarding exercise. Follow the step-by-step instructions below to draw the Olympic ring easily.
Here, you can see a short demo in the image below. Follow the detailed instructions to draw the Olympic ring perfectly. Both beginners and kids can easily draw it by following the steps given below.
Step 1: Draw The First Ring
Start by drawing the perfect circle, the same size as in the picture given below. You can use the help of a compass to sketch the perfect circle. Then, draw the inner circle with the same center point.
If using round objects to trace, find two objects that fit one inside the other. Place the larger object on the paper and trace around it, and then place the smaller object later. Then, use the eraser to clean up any stray pencil marks.
Step 2: Add the Second Ring
Draw a second circle to the right of the first ring, slightly overlapping it. Ensure the circles are evenly sized and the overlap is consistent. Then, as in the first step, draw an inner circle as shown in the image above.
Step 3: Draw the Third Ring
Sketch a third circle to the right of the second ring, slightly overlapping it. You now have three interlocking rings on the top row. Make the circle, using a compass or tracing, and follow the same first step.
Step 4: Sketch The Fourth Ring
Below the first and second rings, draw a fourth circle, overlapping both of them slightly. This ring should be centred under the first two rings.
Step 5: Position the Fifth Ring
Draw the fifth circle to the right of the fourth ring, overlapping both the second and third rings. This ring should be centred under the second and third rings.
Step 6: Erase The Rough Lines
Erase any rough or overlapping lines that are not part of the final outline. Clean up the drawing to prepare for coloring.
If you are confused about the guide, you can take a reference from the final picture of the drawing. If you are interested in adding colors, follow the guide below. Let’s enjoy coloring as well.
