Radha and Krishna were best friends whose love symbolized pure love. Krishna, a mischievous boy, and Radha, a kind girl, spent their time together playing and dancing. Krishna’s m music enchanted animals and people, and Radha loved to hear it.
Their story teaches us about love, friendship, and devotion. Here’s a brief preview of today’s tutorial. Please go through the instructions step by step to complete your sketching.
Step 1: Sketch an Outline for the Face of Lord Krishna
To draw Lord Krishna’s face, start by drawing a teardrop shape. Imagine a tiny raindrop that’s wider at the bottom and has a pointy top. Start drawing from the left side of your paper and make the lines curve inward, like a smiling moon. Make the lines smaller at the top and wider at the bottom.
Step 2: Draw Lord Krishna Fluffy Hair
Now, let’s draw Lord Krishna’s fluffy hair! Start from the left side of his face and draw a squiggly line that looks like a fluffy cloud. Make it go all the way to the right side.
For his ears, draw two small, oval shapes, one on each side of his face. Remember, they should be facing away from his face. To make earrings, draw tiny circles on the lower part of each ear.
Step 3: Complete Sketching Hair and Peacock Feathers on Krishna’s Head
To complete Lord Krishna’s hair, draw more squiggly lines below his ears on both sides. Make them look like fluffy hair strands. Now, let’s pull his famous peacock feather! On top of his head, draw a shape that looks like a heart. This will be the base of the peacock feather.
Step 4: Draw Krishna’s Body
To draw Lord Krishna’s body, start on the left side and sketch a curved line that goes up to his chin and then back down. On the right side, draw a curved line that goes down and then back up, like a boomerang.
Connect the ends of these lines with a straight line to form his waist. Finally, draw a small circle on his hand to show his hand band.
Step 5: Sketch Ornaments of Krishna
To draw Lord Krishna’s necklace, start from his left cheek. Draw a curved line that goes down to his chest and then back up to his right cheek and again draw one more curve aligning the previous curve.
Make sure they look like long, flowing lines. For his waistband, draw a small circle around his waist. Then, draw a smaller circle inside the first circle.”
Step 6: Draw the Lower Body of Lord Krishna
Let’s draw Lord Krishna’s legs! Start on the left side of his waist and draw a curved line that goes down and then curves inward. Draw a short line from the end of this line that looks like a toe.
Do the same thing on the right side, but make the curve go towards the left. To draw his dhoti, draw three lines going down from his waist belt. At the bottom, draw two curved lines that look like a wave.
Draw lines on both of his thighs to show his dhoti folds. Above his ankles, draw curved lines to show his feet. Finally, draw small circles around his ankles to show his anklets.
Step 7: Outline the Face of Lord Radha
Now, let’s draw Lord Radha! Start by drawing a curved line that looks like a sideways letter ‘C’. Make sure the curve goes from left to right. At the top of the curve, draw a small circle for her sirful.
Step 8: Sketch the Hands and Body of Radha
To draw Radha’s hands, start at her cheek and draw a long, skinny shape that looks like a tube. At the end of the tube, draw squiggly lines to make her fingers. For her other hand, draw a round shape with squiggly lines.
Now, let’s draw her choli! Start at her chin and draw lines going straight down. To connect her choli to her hands, draw short, curved lines from her shoulders to her waist.
Step 9: Draw the Lower Body of Radha
To draw Radha’s sari, start at her waist and draw a line that goes down and to the left, stopping at the same level as Lord Krishna’s dhoti.
From the end of this line, draw a curved line that goes up and then back down, touching her leg. Now, draw two more curved lines inside the first line, making it look like a layered sari.
To draw Radha’s feet, draw a shape that looks like a mango below the sari. Finally, draw circles around her ankles for her anklets.
Step 10: Sketch the Hair of Radha
For making the long hair of Radha, sketch an irregular curve from the right of Krishna’s head near the ear up to the waist of Radha with zigzag lines.
Step 11: Add Veil on Radha’s Head
To draw Radha’s veil, start at the top of her head and draw a curved line that goes down to the bottom of her sari. Then, draw a horizontal curve from the end of the previous curve to the bottom of her sari. Finally, draw another line from her head to the bottom of her hair.”
Step 12: Sketch the Facial Features on Lord Krishna’s Face
Start by drawing two curved shapes, like the letter “C,” on either side of the page. These will be the eyes. Inside each eye, draw a circle (the pupil) and then a smaller circle inside the pupil.
Above the eyes, draw two lines that look like eyebrows. Below the eyes, draw a curvy line for the upper lip and a straight line for the lower lip. Above the lips, draw a short line for the nose. Finally, on the forehead, draw a U-shaped mark. This is the tilak, a special mark often worn by Hindu gods.
Step 13: Sketch the Facial Features on Lord Radha’s Face
For the eyes and eyebrows of Radha, draw short curves facing downward. Just below, sketch a small oval-shaped structure. Add some short curves beside the Lord Krishna’s waist and Radha’s veil.
