Steps To Draw A Krishna
Janmashtami, also known as Krishna Janmashtami, commemorates the birth of Lord Krishna and stands as one of the grandest festivals in Hinduism.
You can get a quick glimpse of the process in the short demo image below. For a more detailed guide, follow the step-by-step instructions provided to easily draw Lord Krishna.
Step 1: Drawing Lord Krishna’s Face
We’ll begin with Lord Krishna’s face. Start by drawing the facial structure as shown in the image above.
Step 2: Draw Peacock Feather
Next, draw the ears and hair outlines and then the peacock feather in the head as in the picture above.
Step 3: Draw Lord Krishna’s Hand
Now draw one hand of Lord Krishna as in the image above. Start by sketching the outline of the hand. Begin with a light, curved shape representing the palm, ensuring a natural look. Next, draw the fingers two fingers open and the other closed, curving them around an imaginary object.
Step 4: Drawing a Body & Belt
Next, draw the body of the Lord Krishna with the cute belt as in the image above. Continue by outlining the body of Lord Krishna and add a belt at last to complete our Lord Krishna body.
Step 5: Draw Krishna’s Another Hand
Then, draw another hand of lord krishna as in the image above. We outline Lord Krishna’s hand with two fingers open for the flute.
Step 6: Draw Bansuri or Flute
Afterwards, draw a rectangular, long bansuri in the hand of Lord Krishna similar to the one shown in the image above. Just draw two horizontal lines parallel to each other and similar to Lord Krishna playing the flute.
Step 7: Draw Krishna Eyes and Nose
Now, to finish the drawing, sketch the eyes and nose of Krishna following the image above. For eyes, draw curved eyes with black pupils and for the nose draw a small curve. And don’t forget to add a small curve at the forehead for the tika.
Step 8: Draw Garland
Next, draw a garland around Lord Krishna’s neck similar to the one shown in the image above. Use a curved outline to form the garland.
Step 9: Complete Hair Design
Then, complete the design of Lord Krishna’s hair, including the peacock feather to finish the drawing.
Finally, we’ve drawn a cute little Krishna with a small peacock feather on his head following easy step-by-step instructions for kids and beginners. Now, let’s move on to the next step and add some color to our adorable Krishna.
