Steps to Draw Goku
Here is a quick preview of today’s tutorial—follow the step-by-step guide to learn how to draw Goku easily and accurately.
Step 1: Draw the Jawline
Start by drawing a rounded “V” shape. This will be the base of Goku’s face — his jaw and chin area. This step will later give the character a finishing look on his face.
Step 2: Sketch the First Front Hair Spike
Above the jawline, draw a small pointed spike to begin forming Goku’s hair. This first spike sits at the left of the forehead.
Step 3: Connect Hair to Face
Now complete the hair spike on the left side and connect it to the jawline by shaping the top of the head as shown in the image. This creates the forehead and part of the upper face outline.
Step 4: Sketch the Ear
Draw both ears on either side of the head, positioned just beneath the hair spikes. Use a C-shaped curve to outline each ear.
Step 5: Add the Right Side Hair
To draw the side hair spikes, sketch sharp, curved lines extending outward from the sides of the head. These spikes should point slightly upward and mimic the iconic style of Goku’s wild hair.
