Step 1: Draw U Shape

Let’s begin by drawing a leaf or petal of the tulip. Sketch an irregular “U” shape just like the one shown in the image above.

Next, draw two curves crossing each other to form two petals of the tulip as demonstrated in the image above. This will create two tulip petals.

Now, in the center of the two petals that were drawn earlier, add a small petal between them as shown in the image above. This completes the drawing of the three tulip petals.

Likewise, continue by completing the tulip’s petals. Draw two more small petals between the two petal leaves that were drawn earlier as shown in the image above. These small petals create a mountain-like shape inside the two larger petals.
