Steps To Draw A Cow
You can also follow our video tutorial. You can check out the brief demo in the image below, then follow the step-by-step instructions to easily draw a cow.
Step 1: Draw an Oval
We begin by sketching an oval-like shape to create the cow’s face as demonstrated in the image above.
Step 2: Draw Cow Head
Next, draw an upside-down “U” shaped structure connecting it to the oval drawn in the previous step as shown in the image above.
Step 3: Draw Cow Body
Now, draw a curved line extending from the hump of the cow to represent the cow’s body. Then, draw a slightly curved line for the chest (brisket) of the cow as shown in the image above.
Step 4: Draw Front Legs
For the front legs, draw a straight line for the foot, and then draw the cow hoof. Repeat the same steps to draw another leg. Additionally, draw a curved line to represent the belly of the cow as shown in the image above.
Step 5: Draw Back Legs
Likewise, for the back legs of the cow, repeat the same previous step to draw the hind legs. Then, draw the fore udder as shown in the image above. Add curved lines in the foreudder to depict the teats of the cow.
Step 6: Draw Horns & Ears
Next, draw two ears on both sides of the cow’s head and add two pointed horns on top of the cow’s head. Also, include a small, cute tail at the back of the cow as illustrated in the image above.
Step 7: Draw Cow Face
Now, sketch two ovals for the nostrils of the cow. Also, draw two small ovals, and inside this oval, draw another oval and color it black for the eyes as shown in the image above.
Step 8: Draw Spots
Finally, draw irregular circles on the head and body to represent the spots on the cow as illustrated in the image above.
Coloring a Cow
After completing the drawing of the cute cow, we proceed to color it. For coloring, we’ve selected some basic colors.
We applied brown to the horns, and black to the tail and spots. The muzzle of the cow is colored in a skin tone, and finally, we used light brown for the foreudder of the cow. Feel free to customize the colors according to your preferences.
