Steps To Draw a Valentine Card
In this tutorial, we will draw a Valentine Card. Here you can see a short preview of today’s tutorial. Follow the detailed instructions below to draw a valentine card step by step.
Step 1: Draw Border
Begin by selecting a hard sheet of paper, you can fold A4 Size paper in half also. We take a paper according to our needs. Now draw a border around the paper as in the image above. You can use a scale but we use our free hand so it will look lovely.
Step 2: Sketch Curvy Border
Next, sketch a curvy, cloudy border inside the outer border line created in Step 1.
Step 3: Complete Curvy Border
Continuing from step 2, complete the sketch of the curvy cloud border as shown in the image above.
Step 4: Draw Two Hearts
Now, draw two small hearts diagonally to the right. You can customize the design of these hearts or use the Valentine’s Heart from the previous tutorial.
Step 5: Draw Rose Flower
Valentine’s Day is also a festival of flowers, especially the rose flower. So draw rose flower petals on the top left part of the greeting card.
Step 6: Draw Rose Sepals
As shown in the image above, we will continue to draw our rose flowers and sketch some sepals and some small flowers.
Step 7: Add Some More Flowers
To finish our rose, let’s replicate small flowers on the right side as well. Feel free to add these flowers based on your preferences.
Step 8: Draw Big Heart
Next, draw a big heart at the centre of our card as shown in the image above. We’ll cover our heart with those small flowers.
Step 9: Draw a Small Flower Vines
Similarly, draw small curvy lines and within it, sketch some small flowers and leaves as shown in the image above. We are decorating our greeting card with small flowers.
Step 10: Write Wish
Now write your wish for your favorite person. We write ours as “Happy Valentine’s Day” inside the big heart.
Coloring a Valentine Card
After completing our card drawing, let’s proceed to add color. We’ve selected some basic colors, but feel free to choose colors as you like.
Let’s color our outer border and big heart with light red. Then we colored red to our two small hearts and rose petals. After that, we coloured light green with the sepals of rose and small flower leaves. Finally, we use blue for some small flowers.
