Steps To Draw A Halloween Drawing
The ghost, Jack O Lantern is the most popular Halloween. So, we decide to make it for you and this guide will be a fun drawing for kids too. Here is a short preview of today’s tutorial you can see we have drawn a scary ghost holding a Jack O Lantern on his hand.
Step 1: Outline Ghost Body
We are starting by sketching the outline of our ghost. Begin by sketching a line from left to right to outline the ghost. We prefer to use a pencil for kids and beginners. But we are using a black marker as it gives a sharp look to our drawing.
Step 2: Complete Ghost Body
Now, continue extending the bottom lines to complete our ghost body. It’s a flying white ghost. Note: make base line wavy so we could add texture on next step.
Step 3: Add Texture To Ghost Base
Now from the wavy point just sketch a small lines to upward direction to add texture of a ghost. Here a ghost is under a white cloth and waving around here and there, that will be very fun.
Step 4: Add Right Hand to Ghost
Then from the center of the right side, let’s add a cute little hand to our ghost. We just sketch a curve line and join it to make a hand of our ghost.
Step 5: Add Left Hand to Ghost
Similarly, from the center of the left side, let’s add a cute little hand to our ghost. We just sketch a curve line and join it to make a hand of our ghost here too.
Step 6: Add Eyes and Nose
We plan to make our ghost in a happy mood this Halloween. So just add a half watermelon shaped mouth and two small eyes like a windows.
Step 7: Add Halloween Pumpkin
Now, behind the left hand, draw an oval with wavy bottom to make our Jack O Lalton or Halloween pumpkin.
Step 8: Add Pumpkin Holding Rope
Here we are making up pumpkin is holding by our ghost so draw our rope that it connect to our pumpkin and also draw a small curve to represent the mouth of the pumpkin so that it looks like a carving pumpkin.
Step 9: Add Halloween Pumpkin
Finally let’s add some Halloween flavor to our drawing. It will be very fun drawing so just add some pointed scary eyes to our Halloween pumpkin and some irregular shape mouth that makes a scary ack O’ Lantern holding by a cute little ghost. We have our final drawing in just 9 steps, lets move forward for coloring. It’s looks so nice.
Coloring our Halloween Drawing
It’s time to color our witch hat, let’s proceed with coloring. We have selected some basic colors, but feel free to choose colors according to your preference as well.
We colored the ghost base with grey shade and pumpkin with orange color.
