Steps to Draw Venom
Despite his scary appearance, Venom is an anti-hero who fights for good and is known for his exciting adventures. Here’s a brief preview of today’s tutorial. Please go through the instructions step by step to complete your sketching.
Step 1: Draw a Teardrop Structure for the Eye of Venom
Start by making a C-shaped curve that leans a little to the left to draw Venom’s big eye. Then, draw sharp, pointy parts at the top to make it look fierce and a bit scary, and continue sketching the curve from the top of the curve down to the bottom.
Step 2: Draw Another Teardrop Structure
Similarly, to draw Venom’s next eye facing the first eye, repeat the same process by making a C-shaped curve that leans a little to the right. Then, draw sharp, pointy parts at the top to make it look fierce and a bit scary, and continue sketching the curve from the top of the curve down to the bottom.
Step 3: Draw an Outline for the Mouth of Venom
Sketch a short line below the eye at the right aligning to the eye and draw it to the left to the next eye, Then, continue with a curve moving downward and again returning to the right with the formation of a long, curvy, and snake-like tongue.
Step 4: Complete the Sketch of Mouth and Add Tongue
Next, sketch a curve from below the tongue of Venom to the right of the upper outline of the mouth to the left, with a clear picture of the tongue extending out of the mouth playfully.
Step 5: Outline the Face of Venom
Now, outline Venom’s head, draw a bumpy, round shape around the eyes, tongue, and mouth. Make the sides stick out a little on the left and right to give the head its proper shape.
Step 6: Sketch a Triangle Shape for the Teeth of Venom
Next, draw multiple small triangular shapes below the upper lips of Venom starting from left to right of the mouth for the scary teeth of our venom.
Step 7: Add Teeth on the Lower Part of the Mouth
Similarly, add four more triangle shapes to the bottom part of the mouth, leaving some space between each tooth. You can start from any direction you like.
Step 8: Add Curves on the Tongue
Finally, to make Venom’s mouth drool with saliva, sketch a short curve at the tip of the tongue. Then add one more curve on the middle of the tongue with a small circle behind it.
Coloring Venom
We have done with Venom’s drawing. Now it’s time to bring it to life with color. For his face, use dark grey to give it a cool look. For the eyes, choose light grey to make them stand out. As for the tongue, make it vibrant: start with pink, then add some light green, and finish with a touch of purple at the tip.
