Steps To Draw A Santa Claus

Step 1: Draw Rough Outlines
Begin by sketching a rough outline like a circle to represent Santa Claus head. Also, draw the body structure roughly including the two legs as shown in the image above. Use a pencil for these initial rough lines.
Step 2: Draw Santa Claus Face
Next, let’s focus on drawing Santa Claus’s facial structure, start outlining the nose, moustache, and smallmouth within a rough circle that we drew in Step 1. Then, draw the beard, connecting it from one side to the other referring to the rough circle.
At the top, create Santa Claus’s hat, and don’t forget to include a circular brim at the end referring to the rough lines we sketched in Step 1. Use a marker for drawing the outlines.
Step 3: Draw Santa Hands
Proceed to draw Santa Claus two hands along with the upper part of his body. Add lines on the left and right sides to create Santa’s belt following the drawing above. As you draw, refer to the reference lines we created earlier. Use a black marker for the finer details.
Step 4: Draw Santa Legs
Likewise, draw Santa two legs, and then sketch his pants and a jacket covering the pants following in the drawing above. Continue to use the reference lines for guidance.
Step 5: Draw Foot and Shoes
Once more, draw Santa Claus feet and shoes as in the image above. Then, create a large bag where Santa carries gifts for the kids as shown in the drawing.
Step 6: Draw Missing Parts
Next, add some additional details such as a small box within the belt, and draw lines on the dress next to the belt just like the image above.
Step 7: Erase Rough Parts
Finally, erase all the outer lines that we drew in the earlier steps. After that draw a charming eye with eyebrows as in the image shown.
With these seven steps, we’ve successfully drawn Santa Claus’s full body. Now, let’s proceed to the next step and add color to our drawing.
Coloring a Santa Claus
Once the drawing of the cute Santa Claus is finished, we’ll proceed with coloring. We’ve selected some basic colors, but feel free to choose your colors according to your preferences.
We’ve filled the hat and dress with red color. The base of the belt is orange with black for the belt chain. The boots are brown, with the soles in dark brown. The bag of Santa is light brown. We’ve used a skin color for Santa’s face.
