Steps To Draw A Mushroom
You can either follow our video guide or the stepwise tutorial provided below. Additionally, we’ve included a brief preview of today’s tutorial.
Step 1: Draw Rough Outline
Sketch a semi-circle approximately as shown in the image above. You can use a compass or any circular object for accuracy. Add a rectangle beneath the semi-circle creating the rough outlines of the mushroom cap and stem. Use a pencil for this initial rough sketch.
Step 2: Draw Stem Of Mushroom
Utilizing the rough lines from step 1, draw a curved shape to outline the stem of the mushroom as depicted in the image above.
Step 3: Draw Mushroom Cap
Once more, sketch a curved outline for the cap of the mushroom using the rough lines as a reference as shown in the image above.
Step 4: Erase Rough Lines
Now, erase the rough lines drawn in step 1 as shown in the image above. We just sketch those lines for guidance.
Step 5: Draw Spots On Mushroom Cap
Now, draw small circles inside the mushroom cap to represent the scales as shown in the image above.
Step 6: Make Mushroom Cute
Now, draw a smiling face on the stem of the mushroom. Start by drawing two bold black small circles for the eyes and a small curve for the mouth as shown in the image above. Finally, we’ve created a cute cartoon mushroom.
Coloring a Mushroom
After completing the drawing of the mushroom, let’s proceed to color it. We’ve chosen some basic colors for this step.
We colored the mushroom cap in red and applied a skin color to the stem. Feel free to choose and apply colors according to your preference.
