Steps to Draw Lightning Bolt
During dark and stormy days, bright flashlights may appear in the sky, followed by a loud boom. That’s lightning and thundering.
So today in this tutorial, we will learn about the steps of drawing a Lightning Bolt. Here’s a brief preview of today’s tutorial. Please go through the instructions step by step to complete your sketching.
Step 1: Outline of the Lightning Bolt
Sketch a slightly inclined straight line towards the right at the middle of the paper to draw a lightning bolt. Add two more inclined lines below the first line.
Step 2: Sketch More Inclined Lines to the Right
Draw two inclined lines from the top to the right of previously drawn lines. Then sketch a slightly longer inclined line touching the bottom line on the left.
Step 3: Join All the Lines
Sketch a short horizontal line from the top of the first inclined line at the left to the line on the right. Similarly, sketch a short horizontal line from the lower end of the first inclined line to the upper end of the second inclined line at the left.
Repeat the same process for the lower end of the second inclined line and the upper end of the third inclined line at the left and do the same for all the three inclined lines at the right.
Step 4: Sketch Short Inclined Lines From All the Vertex
Sketch three slightly short inclined lines towards the left at all the vertex on the left side of the lightning bolt. Similarly, repeat the same process on the vertexes of the right.
Step 5: Complete Lightning Bolt
On the left, from the end of two lines drawn in Step 4, sketch short horizontal lines towards the center. From the end of the bottom’s short inclined line, sketch a line moving upward parallel to the line drawn in Step 2.
Coloring Lightning Bolt
We have finished drawing the Lightning Bolt and moving to the coloring section. For coloring, we have chosen different colors. We are using yellow and orange colors.
