Lord Ganesh or Ganesha also known as Ganapati, Vinayaka, and Pillaiyar, is one of the best-known and most worshipped deities in the Hindu religion.
Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated for a whole 11 days. On this festival, people install the statue of Lord Ganesha in their homes and temples. This festival ends on Anant Chaturdashi with Ganesh Visarjan. The devotees of the Lord Ganesha offer their prayers to God.

Steps To Draw Ganpati Bappa from Leaf
Let’s start today’s tutorial on drawing lord ganesha. You can see the short preview in the image below.
Step 1: Draw a Leafy Curve
We are starting by drawing a leaf shaped curve as shown in the image above.
Step 2: Draw Head
Now complete half part of the leaf as shown in the image above. We are outlining Ganpati Bappa through a leaf.
Step 3: Draw Ganesha Ear
Now draw the right ear of Ganpati as shown in the image above. This is a leaf drawing so we are just drawing a leaf.
Step 4: Draw Ganpati’s Body
Similarly, draw a large leaf for drawing Ganpati Bappa’s body as in the image above.
Step 5: Draw Ganpati Other Ear
Now draw a left ear of Ganpati as shown in the image above. We are sketching using a leaf.
Step 6: Draw Ganesha Left Hand
Now draw a small leaf for Ganpati’s left hand as in the image above.
Step 7: Drawing Ganesha Left Leg
Then draw a pointed leaf for Ganpati’s left leg as in the image above.
Step 8: Draw Ganpati Right Leg
Then draw a leaf for Ganpati’s right leg as in the image above.
Step 9: Draw Ganesha Ji Right Hand
Then draw a small leaf for Ganpati’s right hand as in the image above.
Step 10: Draw Midrib on Head and Ears
As we are drawing Ganpati from the leaf, draw midrib on the ears and face of Ganpati as shown in the image above.
Step 11: Draw Midrib on Hands
Similarly, draw midrib on the leaf on the hands of Ganpati as shown in the image above. Then, sketch a curve line to draw the midrib on the Ganpati’s body as shown in the image above.
Step 12: Draw Midrib on Legs
Similarly, draw midrib on the hands of Ganpati as shown in the image above.
Step 13: Draw Ganpati Bappa Face
Now, draw curved lines to form the eyes of Lord Ganesha and create an irregular circle for Ganpati Bappa’s nose as depicted in the image above.
Step 14: Draw Tirsul on the Forehead of Ganpati
Now draw the tirsul three lines on the forehead of the lord Ganesh as in the image above.
Coloring Ganpati Bappa
Once you’ve finished drawing Lord Ganesh, it’s time to add color. We’ve selected some basic colors for this.
As we drew Ganpati from the leaf, we colored all parts dark green. We colored heads with orange color and red on tirsul and nose. You can fill the color according to our wish too.

After coloring, we get a realistic drawing of Ganpati Bappa. You can use a pencil color (we made it digital).
