Steps To Draw An IceCream
Here is a short preview of today’s tutorial. Follow the detailed guide below for drawing an ice cream step by step.
Step 1: Draw Ice Cream Cone
Begin by drawing a “U” shaped structure to create the cone for the ice cream similar to the one shown in the image above.
Step 2: Draw Upper Cone
Next, draw another “U” shape connecting to the bottom of the cone that we drew earlier following the picture above.
Step 3: Retrace Cone
Now, add some borders to the ice cream cone. Draw a curved line at the top to create the area that holds the cream. Retrace the lower part of the cone to give it a more realistic appearance as shown in the image above.
Step 4: Sketch First Layer Of Ice Cream
On top of the cone, sketch the first layer of the ice cream following the image above.
Step 5: Draw Second Layer Of Ice Cream
Likewise, draw the second layer of the ice cream on top of the first layer mirroring the image above. Make sure you decrease the size of the ice cream.
Step 6: Sketch Third Layer Of Ice Cream
In the same manner, draw the third layer of the ice cream on top of the second layer following the image shown above.
Step 7: Draw Texture On Cone
Now, draw some “L” shapes inside the cone to give texture to our ice cream cone as shown in the image above.
Step 8: Give Texture To Ice Cream
Now, outline the cream to enhance the realistic look of our ice cream following the image above. And there we have it – a sweet ice cream is ready!
Coloring an Ice Cream
After completing the ice cream drawing, we can proceed to color it. We’ve chosen some basic colors, but feel free to use any colors you choose for filling.
We filled orange on the cone and for the cream, we used a light pink color while coloring our ice cream.

After coloring, we get cute ice cream. You can use a pencil color (we made it digital).
