Steps To Draw A Yak

Step 1: Draw The Head

Begin by sketching the rounded rectangle for the head in the centre of your paper roughly. We are using a pencil to sketch these rough reference lines.

Step 2: Outline The Body

Continuing from the head, draw a rounded shape for the back of the animal. Make sure to draw only half of this shape, as shown in the picture. As we are using pencil to draw it will be easier to erase mistakes.

Step 3: Add Hair

Outline the head of the yak and then sketch the shaggy hair as shown in the picture. We are using a black marker for sketching the fair part, you can either use a pen or a black marker.

Step 4: Complete The Body Outline

Use a marker and follow the rough line to draw the body outline as shown. Then, add texture to the hair to make it look realistic.

Step 5: Add Shaggy Hair on the Body
