Steps To Draw A Tree
Here’s a quick preview of today’s tutorial. Follow the detailed guide below to draw a tree step by step.
Step 1: Draw Tree Trunk
First, let’s draw the trunk of the tree. Draw two curves opposite to each other as shown in the image above.
Step 2: Draw Some Branches and Roots
Next, draw some branches at the top of the trunk and some pointed roots at the bottom of the tree following the picture above.
Step 3: Draw Half Tree Crown
Now, from the left side of the branches, draw half of the tree crown outline as demonstrated in the image above.
Step 4: Complete Tree Crown
Continuing the outline, draw the right side of the crown to complete our tree as shown in the image above.
Step 5: Draw Some Leaves
Now, draw more curves inside the tree crown outline and near the branches to represent a tree with a lot of leaves as illustrated in the image above.
Step 6: Draw Ground
Now, draw the ground around the tree roots for a more realistic look as demonstrated in the image above. Finally, we’ve drawn a tree in just 6 steps. Now, let’s proceed with coloring the tree in the next step.
Coloring a Tree
After completing the drawing of the tree, let’s move forward with coloring it. We’ve chosen some basic colors for reference, but feel free to use any colors according to your preference.
We applied a dark green color to the tree crown and used brown for the branches, trunk, and roots. Additionally, we used a light green for the ground to represent shrubs or small grass.
