Steps To Draw A Sofa
Here we have a short preview of today’s tutorial. Follow the detailed guide below to draw a sofa step by step.
Step 1: Draw Rough Sketch
We begin by sketching some preliminary lines. Draw a rectangle freehand and add a horizontal line halfway across its width. We are using a pencil for these initial sketches.
Step 2: Draw the Arm Of the Sofa
Now, draw the two ovals on the right and left sides and the oval should be a bit tilted in the center. Now use a pen or marker for drawing a fair part.
Step 3: Draw Sofa Base
Then, draw two lines extending from the oval that we drew in the previous step on both sides and join them with a straight line for the base of the sofa.
Step 4: Draw Sofa Seat
Now, using those reference lines as a guide, draw two horizontal lines for the sofa seat as shown in the image above.
Step 5: Complete Sofa Seat & Arm
First, draw a cylindrical shape to complete the sofa arm. Then, draw a straight line from the end point of the sofa arm to complete the sofa seat.
Step 6: Draw Sofa Back
After that, draw a back cushion or sofa back. Draw two lines upward from the sofa arm and join them, referring to the rough lines for the sofa back.
Step 7: Erase All Rough Lines
Lastly, erase all the rough lines that were drawn earlier. Finally, our sofa is ready.
Coloring a Sofa
After completing the drawing of the beautiful sofa, we move for coloring. For coloring, we have chosen some basic colors. Feel free to use colors according to your preferences.
We colored the entire sofa orange. And a little bit of shade to the sofa back and soda seat.
