Draw A Snowman Step By Step

Step 1: Draw Circle

Step 1

Begin by drawing a large circle roughly as shown in the image above. You can use a compass or any circular object to draw the circle. Use a pencil for this initial rough sketch.

Step 2: Draw Another Circle

Step 2

Next, draw an additional circle at the top overlapping the first one as illustrated in the drawing above. Ensure that this second circle is smaller than the one in Step 1. Use a pencil for these rough lines; we will erase them in the upcoming steps.

Step 3: Draw Another Circle

Step 3

Likewise, draw an additional circle at the top of the circle that we drew in Step 2 and make sure it overlaps. Once more, ensure that this third circle is smaller than the circle in Step 2. Use a pencil for these rough lines as they will be erased in subsequent steps.

Step 4: Draw Snowman Hands

Step 4

Next, use the circles as references to draw the outlines of the snowman as shown in the image above. Then, draw rectangular sticks to create the snowman’s stick hands. For these fair outlines, use a black marker or pen.

Step 5: Draw Snowman Scarf

Step 5

Now, add a rectangular scarf around the snowman as in the image above. Draw a curve at the top of the small circle and create a rectangular scarf.

Step 6: Draw Snowman Hat

Step 6

Likewise, create a snowman hat at the top just as shown in the drawing above. Sketch a christmas hat at the top of the head.

Step 7: Erase Rough Parts

Step 7

Now, erase all the rough lines that we drew in the previous steps. Finally, we get a cleaner look at the snowman.

Step 8: Draw Snowman Face

Step 8

Finally, we’ll create the snowman’s face. Begin by drawing the cute eyes, followed by a triangular-shaped snowman nose.

Then, add a curved line for a cheerful, smiling mouth. Place circular black buttons on the snowman body, and add some lines to detail the scarf. With these steps, we’ve successfully drawn the snowman full body in seven steps.

Coloring a Snowman

Once the drawing of the snowman is finished, we’ll proceed with coloring. We’ve selected some basic colors, but feel free to choose your colors and fill it as you like.

We’ve used red color for the hat and scarf of the snowman, with green color to create the stripes on the scarf. The stick arm is colored brown, and we’ve given the carrot nose an orange hue.

Colour Details:

  1. Red
  2. Green
  3. Brown
  4. Black
  5. Orange
