Steps To Draw A Halloween Tree
You can use our skeleton on your Halloween postcard or Halloween scenes, our skeleton drawing is very easy and we break it down into multiple small steps to make you learn easily. Here is a short preview of our tutorial: here you can see a step by step guide for drawing a cute skeleton.
Step 1: Outline the Skull
We are starting by sketching the skull of our skeleton. Begin by sketching the oval shape of our skull. Here we are using a marker for sharp drawing you can use a pencil if you are a beginner or a kid. So you can erase it when you make a mistake.
Step 2: Sketch a Chin
Now in the lower part of our skull sketch w shape in between those two erased lines. Here we start from the left side writing a small w small w and join to another side to make the chin of our skeleton.
Step 3: Sketch a Ribs
We just tried to make this tutorial for kids that’s why we don’t include a lot of details in our tutorial. Now we are drawing the spine and ribs of our skeleton.
At first, draw a small curve to represent the spine of our skeleton then continue from the same curve extend those two curves on both right and left sides and outline them to for the ribs of our skeleton. Also, add a small line to continue making the spine and ribs on the next step.
Step 4: Add More Ribs
Now continue from the same point and extend those lines to form the ribs of our skeleton. Then on the second ribs, you need to make those lines extend wider than the previous one and again outline it and again you form a small spine then again you will extend those same lines on both sides wider than the previous one.
Finally, join those outlines to form the ribcage of our skeleton. So here we just completed the spine, ribs and ribcage of our skeleton.
Step 5: Sketch Left Humerus
Then we need to draw the left arm or humerus of our skeleton. At first, draw two parallel lines from the first ribs of our skeleton and draw a small m shape at both sides of those lines to make our bones shape.
Step 6: Draw Right Humerus
Following the previous step, draw the right humorous of our skeleton. Here also we just sketch two lines and join the end with a small m shape to form the bone of our skeleton.
Step 7: Draw Left Hand
Now from the humerus attach two lines to make the left hand of our skeleton. To complete the radius bone just close the bone with “m” shape on the left hand and make a wrist with three fingers.
Step 8: Draw Right Hand
Similarly in the previous step, now draw the right hand. Again here we extend the line from the right humerus and join the line with “m” shape then we draw a wrist with three fingers as shown in the image above.
Step 9: Sketch Pelvis Bone
Now after the ribcage at the center, sketch two curved lines and join them to form the pelvis bone of our cute little skeleton.
Step 10: Sketch Left Femur
Now from the pelvis bone sketch two lines and join them with a small “m” to form a left femur of our skeleton.
Step 11: Sketch Right Femur
Similarly, in the previous step, let’s draw another femur bone from the pelvis bone. Here we again create two lines and join them with a small “M “m” to form the right leg of our small skeleton.
Step 12: Sketch Left Leg
Now continue from the femur born and draw two parallel lines to make our Tibia born or left leg born and finally draw a small oval to represent the foot of our skeleton or the foot bone of our skeleton.
Step 13: Sketch Right Leg
Similar to the previous step, now we need to make the right leg of our skeleton. Here we again continue from the right femur bone and sketch two parallel lines and a small oval to represent the foot of our skeleton. Finally, our skeleton is about to be completed. We can see the appearance of the skeleton now only the facial structure remains and we will sketch it in the next step.
Step 14: Draw Skeleton Nose
To complete our skeleton now add some facial structure to our skeleton skull. So at first, draw the inverse heart shape and fill it with a black marker.
Step 15: Sketch Eyes of Skeleton
Now sketch two ovals with pointed ends at the nose side like a chat box for the eyes of our skeleton and fill it with black marker.
Finally, we have completed our cute little skeleton, Doesn’t it look so cute? Now if you are here following the tutorial let’s color our skeleton. You can use it without coloring too but in this tutorial, we are going to give some color to our cute little skeleton.
Coloring our Cute Skeleton
After completing the sketching of our skeleton, let’s proceed with coloring. We have selected some basic colors, but feel free to choose colors according to your preference as well.
We colored the whole skeleton with light yellow color. Now it looks more realistic and scary.
Colour Details:
- Black
- Light Yellow
After coloring, for Halloween, we try to make a scary skeleton but it becomes a cute one.
