Steps To Draw A Scary Monster
The scary monster can be used on different Halloween postcards. So, we decided to make it for you and this guide will be a fun drawing for kids too. Here is a short preview of today’s tutorial you can see we have drawn a scary blue monster.
Step 1: Outline Monster Face
We are starting by sketching the outline of our monster. Begin by sketching semi circular line. We prefer to use a pencil for kids and beginners. But we are using a black marker as it gives a sharp look to our drawing.
Step 2: Sketch Monster Outline
Again sketch the semi circular line at the top. Keep a small gap on top, left and right side.
Step 3: Add Ears and Hairs
Now, sketch the curved lines to make the hair and ears of our monster. Just fill those gaps that we drew in step 2.
Step 4: Sketch Left Leg
Now from the left side of the monster’s body, draw two lines to form the leg of our monster with three fingers. Here we sketch the left leg of our monster with creepy fingers.
Step 5: Sketch Right Leg
Similarly from the right side, draw two lines to form the leg of our scary monster and also add three fingers to our monster. Here we make our right leg of a scary monster with a creepy leg finger.
Step 6: Sketch Left Hand
Now from the middle of our monster draw two lines to form the monster’s left hand with three fingers.
Step 7: Sketch Right Hand
Similarly, draw two lines on the right middle side to form the right hand of our scary monster with 3 fingers.
Step 8: Draw Left Horn
In between the hair and ears, sketch two curved lines and join them to form the horn of our monster on the left side.
Step 9: Draw Right Horn
Similarly, in between the hair and ears, sketch two curved lines and join them to form the horn of our monster on the right side.
Step 10: Add Scary Left Eye
Now, we are making this monster for Halloween so we need to make it angry and scary look. So at first sketch a straight eyebrow and draw an eye with pupils at the right side. We draw a left eye of our scary monster.
Step 11: Add Scary Right Eye
Follow the same step to draw the right eye of our scary monster. We sketch a straight eyebrow and draw an eye with pupils on the left side to give it an angry appearance.
Step 12: Sketch Angry Mouth Of Monster
Finally, draw a curved line to make an angry mouth of our scary monster. And give a small line to show the teeth of our angry monster. We have a lot of fun drawing this scary monster. Share this scary monster if you love our drawings.
Coloring our Scary Monster
It’s time to color our scary monster, let’s proceed with coloring. We have selected some basic colors, but feel free to choose colors according to your preference as well.
We colored the whole monster with blue color and the horns with light yellow color.
