Steps To Draw A Pineapple

There are a lot of sweet fruits like apples, bananas, grapes, etc and pineapple is also one of them. It looks like the pineapple is the king of the fruit. We start by drawing a round figure, making a crown, and then giving shape to the pineapple.

Step 1: Outline Pineapple

Sketch a round figure to form the body of the pineapple following the image above. We are using a black marker to sketch the outline of pineapple for a cleaner look.

Step 2: Draw Pineapple Crown

Next, draw the first layer of the pineapple’s crown. In the gap between the two endpoints of the pineapple body, sketch an oval shape for the base of the crown. From both sides of the base of the crown, draw two pointed crowns as in the image above.

Step 3: Complete Crown

Next, complete the first layer of the crown as in the picture above. Here we sketch two crown leaves from both sides.

Step 4: Draw Second Layer of the Crown

Now, draw the second layer of the crown as in the picture above. Make the size of this layer significantly larger than the first layer. Here we repeat the same process as earlier to sketch the second layer of the pineapple.

Step 5: Draw Third Layer of the Crown

Similarly, draw the third layer of the crown as in the picture above. Make the size of this layer significantly larger than the second layer. Here we repeat the same process as earlier to sketch the third layer of the pineapple.

Step 6: Draw Pineapple Shell

Finally, draw lines from one side and again draw lines from another side for drawing the shells of the pineapple as in the image above.

Colouring a Pineapple

After completing the drawing of the pineapple, let’s proceed with coloring. For this, we have selected some basic colors.

We used orange for the body of the pineapple and green for the crown. Feel free to choose colors according to your preferences.
