Steps To Draw A Pentagon

Step 1: Draw Circle Roughly
We begin by drawing a perfect circle roughly as shown in the image above. You can use a compass or any circular object to draw the circle. Use a pencil to draw these rough lines.
Step 2: Draw First Side
Next, draw one straight line inside the circle at the bottom to create the first side of the pentagon as shown in the drawing above. Use a pen or marker to draw this part accurately.
Step 3: Draw Second Side
Now, once again use the protractor to construct a 108° angle arc and extend the straight line as depicted in the image above. Ensure accuracy in drawing this part.
Step 4: Draw Third Side
Now, once again use the protractor to construct a 108° angle arc and extend the straight line to draw the third side of the pentagon as depicted in the image above. Ensure accuracy in drawing this part.
Step 5: Draw Fourth Side
Similarly, repeat the previous step to draw the fourth side as shown in the image above. Ensure accuracy in drawing this part.
Step 6: Draw Fifth Side
Once more repeat the same step 3 for the last time to draw the fifth side of the pentagon. Remember, a pentagon has five sides, so ensure that you draw exactly five sides and not more than that.
Step 7: Erase Rough Lines
Lastly, erase the outer lines (circle), and you have completed drawing the pentagon using a protractor and ruler.
