This will be the basic and easy tutorial for drawing a lamp. A lamp is a basic home appliance that is mostly used at night time. We are sketching a basic bed lamp that we are using in our bedroom. So, it will be fun sketching a common lamp.

Steps To Draw A Lamp

Step 1: Draw Rectangle
Start by drawing a rectangular figure that is open at the top following the image above. This will be the basic stand of the lamp.
Step 2: Draw Lamp Base
Now, draw the lampshade on top of the lamp base following the image above. The lampshade completes the basic structure of the lamp. From the lamp stand sketch two lines far from each other then join them by the curve and draw another curve to extend the edge.
Step 3: Draw Shade
Now, draw the lampshade on top of the lamp base as shown in the image above. The lampshade completes the basic structure of the lamp. Start by drawing a horizontal line that extends from each point. Then, draw lines extending from these points and join them with curved lines attached to the lamp stand.
Step 4: Draw Decoration
To add a decorative touch to the lamp’s shade, draw some curves as shown in the image above to create a stylish design. This step enhances the overall appearance of the lamp. Finally,
Coloring a Lamp
Once you’ve completed the drawing of the lamp, you can proceed with coloring it. We’ve selected some basic colors for this step. Feel free to use these colors or make your own color choices based on your preferences.
We have mixed colors while coloring. We colored the base of the lamp brown. At the top and bottom of the lampshade, we applied orange. In the middle of the shade, we used red, and between the red areas, we filled in with yellow. This combination of colors gives our lamp a vibrant and artistic appearance. You can certainly adapt the colors according to your preferences as well.
