Durga is a significant form of the Goddess in Hinduism and is also known as Devi and Shakti. In this tutorial today, we are going to learn how you can draw Durga Maa.

Steps To Draw A Durga Maa
You can see a short preview of today’s tutorial. Follow the steps below to easily draw a durga maa.
Step 1: Draw Rough Lines
We’ll begin by drawing rough lines, with a length of 2.9cm vertically and 2.5cm horizontally, as shown in the drawing above. Use a pencil to draw rough lines so that we can erase them in the future.
Step 2: Draw Durga Maa Eyes
Next, draw two oval shaped Durga Maa’s eyes fairly as shown in the drawing above. At the top, draw the third eye, and be sure to include double lines inside the eyes as depicted. We use a black marker, you can use a pen or black marker to draw a fair part.
Step 3: Drawing a Eyebrows
After that, draw two pointed eyebrows as in the image above. Then, in the center of the forehead, create a small circle for the ‘tika,’ and on the third eye, add another small circle. Also, draw a small curved line for the nose of Durga Maa.
Step 4: Drawing a Durga Maa Eyes and Nose Ring
Now, fill the eyebrows and outline the eyes with black color. Then draw a small circle inside each eye. Sketch a circular nose ring of Durga Maa. Now draw a mouth of the Durga Maa as in the image above.
Step 5: Erase Rough Part
Finally, erase all the rough lines from step 1. We get a cleaner look to our drawing.
Coloring a Durga Maa
Once the Durga Maa drawing is done, let’s proceed to color her. We’ve selected some basic colors, but feel free to choose your own.
We colored the eyes and eyebrows in black, the nose ring in yellow, and the lips and forehead eye in red.
