Steps To Draw A Crab
You can choose to watch our video tutorial or follow the detailed instructions below. Here’s a quick demo of today’s tutorial. Follow the steps provided to easily draw a cute crab step by step.
Step 1: Draw Shell
We’ll begin by drawing an oval shape to represent the shell of the crab as shown in the image above.
Step 2: Draw Two Eyes Outline
Next, draw small circles to create the large eyes of the crab. Connect the eyes to the body by drawing two small lines as shown in the drawing above.
Step 3: Draw Crab’s Left Cheliped and Claw
Now, draw the left cheliped and claw. Create two horizontal small ovals and connect them to form the cheliped. On top of that, draw a “V” shape and join it with an oval to depict the crab’s claw as shown in the image above.
Step 4: Draw Crab’s Right Cheliped and Claw
Similarly, draw the right cheliped and claw. Sketch two horizontal small ovals and connect them to create the cheliped. On top of that, draw a “V” shape and join it with an oval to represent the crab’s claw as depicted in the image above.
Step 5: Draw Crawling Legs
Then, draw the crawling legs of the crab on both sides. Create three horizontal small ovals and connect them to form the crawling legs of the crab on both sides as shown in the image above.
Step 6: Draw More Crawling Legs
Once more, draw another set of crawling legs for the crab on both sides. Draw three horizontal small ovals and connect them to create the crawling legs of the crab on both sides as depicted in the image above.
Step 7: Draw More Walking Legs
Once again, draw the walking legs of the crab on both sides as shown in the image above. For that, draw three horizontal small ovals and connect them to form the legs of the crab.
Step 8: Draw Swimming Legs
Once more, at the lower part, draw two horizontal small ovals and connect them to create the swimming legs of the crab. Draw the legs of the crab on both sides as depicted in the image above. Finally, draw a circle at the endpoint of the legs to represent the swimming legs.
Step 9: Draw a Smile and an Eyebrow
Since we are drawing a cartoon crab, add a small curve on both sides of the eyes to sketch the crab’s eyebrows at the top. Additionally, draw a curved line to form the smiling face of the crab as shown in the image above.
Step 10: Draw Eyeball
Finally, draw a small circle to depict the charming eyes and within each eye draw another small circle for the pupils of the crab as shown in the image above.
