Steps To Draw A X-mas Tree
You can also watch our video tutorial. Here’s a short preview of today’s tutorial. Follow the steps below to easily draw a Christmas tree step by step.
Step 1: Draw Triangle Top
Draw a triangle top (^) shape as in the image above. You can even use a scale or ruler to ensure your Christmas tree is accurately shaped.
Step 2: Draw X Mas Tree First Layer
Now, draw a zig-zag line connecting the two open ends of the triangle top that we created in step 1 as shown in the image above. Afterwards, draw lines at the right and left corners to form the first layer of the Christmas tree.
Step 3: Draw the Second Layer Of the Tree
Repeat the same steps as in step 1 and step 2 to create the second layer of the tree. We are making the lower part wider than that of the previous step.
Step 4: Draw Third Layer Of Tree
Once more, repeat the same steps as the last time to draw the third layer of the tree. Afterwards, draw two small lines from the middle as shown in the drawing above, to create the Christmas tree stem.
Step 5: Draw Gift Box
Next, draw a square gift box on the right side near the Christmas tree as shown in the image above. Start by sketching the square box and small rectangular wrapper around the box.
Step 6: Draw Another Gift
Likewise, add one more gift box on the left side near the Christmas tree as in the image above. Repeat the same step to add another gift box.
Step 7: Draw Strip Lights
As we all know, Christmas trees are adorned with lights. Let’s add a strand of lights around the tree. Draw a curly line strip around the tree to decorate the Christmas tree as shown in the image above.
Step 8: Draw Led Bulb
Next, draw small circles to represent LED light bulbs, and place them as desired following the example in the drawing above. Just sketch small circles all around the led strips to add LED bulbs.
Step 9: Draw Star
Finally, draw a star at the top of the Christmas tree just like the one in the drawing above.
At last, we’ve successfully drawn an X-Mas tree with presents. Now, let’s proceed to the next step and add color to our beautiful X-Mas tree.
Coloring an X Mas Tree
Once the drawing of the Christmas tree is finished, we’ll proceed with coloring it. We’ve selected some basic colors, but feel free to choose your colors and fill them as you like.
We used light green for the leaves of the tree, yellow for the star at the top, red for one gift box, and blue for the other. The stem of the Christmas tree is colored brown. We filled different colors to the LED light bulbs. Doesn’t it look fantastic?
